There is another side to Leicester, a side that is rarely seen by the average person, these places are usually the relm of the hidden underclasses and go unnoticed amidst the shiney glass buidlings of the Highcross Shopping Center or the stealth refinement of the Curve Theatre, these are the derelict buildings of Leicester.

Many of these empty buildings lie derelict for years, some till they are vandalised or demolished when deemed too decayed to warrant repair. Amongst them are some architectural gems, some fine examples of type and some unusual buildings as well as many showing how buildings decay, and the perils and pitfalls awaiting these former hives of activity.
